John P. Sganga, FACHE

John Sganga launched Innovatix in 1993 to offer group-purchasing services to alternate site providers. Sganga joined the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), of which Innovatix is a subsidiary, as Vice President of Financial Operations in 1992. He has close to 30 years of health care experience, thirteen of them focused on alternate site purchasing. Before joining the GNYHA staff, Sganga was the Senior Director of Financial Operations at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center for over two years, and prior to that he worked for Ernst and Young's Management Consulting Service for six years.

Sganga has served on the Executive Board of the Metropolitan Health Administrators' Association (MHAA) since 1992, and was President from 1995 to 1996. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), where he won a Young Healthcare Executives' Regents Award in 1995, and from 1994 to 1995, served on the Board of the New York Association of Ambulatory Care.

In January 1999, Sganga was recognized as one of New York's rising stars in Crain's New York Business "40 Under Forty" column, and in April 1999, he was awarded the Alumni Torch Award by New York University for outstanding contribution in the field of public service. Most recently, the Metropolitan Health Administrators' Association (MHAA) bestowed him with the "2004 Award of Distinction" for his commitment to healthcare on a regional and national level.

Sganga currently serves on the Board of Directors of Resources for Children with Special Needs, as well as Shop Well with You. John holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University, with a concentration in Health Services Management.

Rocco D. Consiglio
VP, Corporate Accounts
Consiglio is responsible for the acquisition and management of all national home infusion corporate accounts, as well as all retail/mail order and specialty pharmacies. He has been a major contributor to the significant growth of Innovatix's Home Infusion membership base.

Consiglio brings over 25 years experience in the home care and pharmaceutical industries to Innovatix. Prior to his current position, he worked as the Vice President of Sales for New Age Home Care and for 15 years with Abbott Laboratories in the Ross Division. Consiglio holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Jersey City State College.

David J. Mancione, MBA
Group VP, Sales
Mancione is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Innovatix sales force. He oversees strategic initiatives, directing the growth of the Innovatix membership base. He brings to Innovatix over 20 years of progressive leadership and business accomplishments in the healthcare industry.

Mancione previously served as Chief Executive Officer of SpecialtyMed Alliance, a group purchasing organization serving the vision care industry. He also served as President of Allied Healthcare Association Services, where he managed the development of a new joint venture of 25 national, state and metropolitan hospitals associations. Mancione holds an M.B.A. from the Long Island University in Brooklyn and a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition and Life Sciences from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

Walter S. Geba, PharmD.
VP, Contract Services

Geba is responsible for providing leadership to the contracting and clinical pharmacy teams and for the development of additional contracting strategies, as well as expanding relationships with manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers. Geba brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from within pharmacy management.

Prior to joining Innovatix, Geba served as Corporate Director, Pharmacy Business Development with Continuum Health Partners – one of the largest integrated health care delivery systems in the New York metropolitan area. He also led Pharmacy Operations at Beth Israel Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Geba holds an M.S. in Pharmacy Administration, and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Florida.

Lisa Sokol
VP, Communications and Public Relations

Sokol is responsible for the strategic planning, communications, internal and external education and training initiatives, and new market development for Innovatix. Sokol has over 25 years of experience with group purchasing organizations (GPOs), starting as a medical/surgical contract negotiations specialist with CSS/COHR in 1983.

Prior to joining Innovatix, Sokol served as the Vice President of Marketing for Group Purchasing Services with Premier, Inc. In 2003 she moved on to become the Senior Vice President, Materials Services for Mercy Resource Management in Naperville, Illinois. Sokol has her BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis and has completed several executive courses in strategic planning and market/business development.
