Continuing Education (ACPE & NAB)
Innovatix is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
Our members have access to complimentary continuing education services through the
Innovatix Institute. Led by Sylvia Thomas, MS, PharmD, BCPS, Vice President,
Innovatix Clinical Pharmacy Services and our pharmacy team, over 500 members participate
each month in our accredited CE programs absolutely free.
Lunch 'N Learn is our monthly teleconference CE program for pharmacists,
pharmacy technicians, dietitians, and nurses. Each program is designed to target
the Long Term Care & Infusion Provider markets. Members participate in
these live teleconferences over their lunch hour without leaving their pharmacy
or facility. Each call is hosted at two different times to accommodate our members
in each time zone.
Live CE programs are provided to our members each year at our National
Meeting & Exhibition. Past meetings have offered members up to 18 accredited
programs. The National Meeting offers both ACPE credits for our pharmacy members
and NAB-NCERs credits for Nursing Home Administrators and dietitians.
Written educational programs are also made available through our bi-annual publication,
Insight Magazine, which is available in hard-copy or accessible for
download through our Website.

Innovatix Network, LLC
The Innovatix Preferred Provider Network (PPN) was established for long term care
providers, combo pharmacy, home infusion and specialty pharmacy providers to facilitate
new relationships with Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) under the Centers for Medicare
and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Part D program. As reimbursement rates are
a key component of our network offering, the depth of the program has continued to expand
since the inception of the Part D program. Today the Innovatix PPN offers the
highest level of programs and services of any entity in the pharmacy universe.
Innovatix Network services include:
- Contracts with 23 major PDP sponsors
- Reimbursement rates with dispensing fees up to 50-100%
higher with favorable AWP discounts compared to standard retail rates
- Monthly PPN member calls
- Conference calls with PDPs
- Regularly scheduled communications
- Assistance with CMS's fraud, waste, and abuse compliance
program
- Elevated claim, prior authorization and other issue
related services with the plan sponsors
- Third party audit assistance
- Representation at national industry events
The Innovatix Network is a fee-based service. Membership to the Innovatix Network, LLC
is independent from the Innovatix Group Purchasing program and is open to all facilities, including those that are not members of the Innovatix GPO.

Regional Aggregation Projects
The flexibility of the Innovatix purchasing program provides additional value to
members by coordinating regional or even national aggregation programs and "Group
Buys". Regional aggregation or "Group Buys" goes above and beyond the typical group
purchasing model in that it requires a pre-commitment from our members in order
to secure unique one-time contracted pricing on predetermined products or services.
Once the member commits to a particular group buy program, Innovatix will facilitate
the bid process on behalf of the members with the vendor community. This
pre-commitment frequently allows Innovatix to negotiate more favorable pricing than through
the typical group purchasing model. Through our affiliation with Premier, our "non-acute facility"
members are able to access some of the same group buy opportunities as some of nation's
largest acute care providers.

Clinical Publications & Programs
Innovatix Care Solutions is a disease state management program designed to provide
Innovatix members with education and resources that support their disease management
initiatives. These manuals are carefully tracked and monitored by our clinical team,
so that we can provide updated materials/methodologies as they are made available
in the marketplace, ensuring that our members stay current with best practices in
disease state management. Our Care Solutions programs include:

Our clinical team continually monitors a variety of clinical-based publications
and relevant drug information to determine what information needs to be shared with

Government Affairs
With so many legislative changes being enacted every day at state and national levels,
we know how tough it is to keep up-to-date! In 2008, Innovatix formally launched
its Government Affairs Program. This program is designed to keep members informed,
provide easy methodologies and opportunities for members to get involved in the
legislative process, and advise members about legislation that could negatively
impact their business.
Working with the Dumbarton Group & Associates, our advocay firm based in Washington, DC,
Innovatix closely monitors legislation from inception to implementation.
We have even successfully arranged for our members to meet with their respective Congressional
leaders on Capitol Hill.

At Innovatix, we are committed to providing the latest technology services for our

we offer members 24/7 access to the reports and services they need to successfully

Each member is given a username and password so that they may access a home page unique
to their account. Through the Website, members are presented with a comprehensive
